Installing on WordPress

WordPress gets its own connector, so there's nothing to copy and paste.

Install it once, add your Site ID, and everything you change in StructuredAF from then on updates on your website on its own.

One thing to check first. If your site is hosted on WordPress.com, you'll need the Business plan or higher, because the free and Personal plans don't allow you to install your own plugins. Self-hosted WordPress is fine on any setup.

Five steps, start to finish

Set aside a couple of minutes. You'll move between your StructuredAF account and your WordPress dashboard, so it helps to have both open.

1

Generate in StructuredAF

With your profile and offers and FAQs filled in, click Generate. That's the only button you need, everything after it happens for you.

2

Download the connector

Go to Settings in your StructuredAF account and download the WordPress connector. It arrives as a zip file, and you can leave it in your downloads folder, there's no need to open or unzip it.

3

Upload it to WordPress

In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins, then Add New Plugin, then Upload Plugin. Choose the file you just downloaded and click Install Now.

4

Activate

WordPress will offer you an Activate button once the upload finishes. Click it.

5

Add your Site ID and save

You'll now find StructuredAF under Settings in your WordPress sidebar. Copy your Site ID from the Settings page in your StructuredAF account, paste it in, and save. It works like a licence key on any other plugin.

How you know it worked

Once you've saved your Site ID, the plugin settings screen confirms the connection itself. If it shows as verified, you're done.

There's nothing else to switch on and nothing to check on your live pages. Your details are now on every page of your website, ready for AI to pick up.

When something changes

New service, updated credentials, a fresh FAQ. Change it in your StructuredAF account, click Generate, and that's the whole job.

The connector picks up the new version for you, so there's nothing to re-download and nothing to re-install. Updating Your Profile covers it in more detail.
