1. Who This Agreement Is With

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StructuredAF, including our website, applications, and all related tools and content.

Business Use Only

These Terms apply to customers purchasing the Service wholly or mainly for business purposes. By subscribing, you confirm that you are acting in the course of a business and not as a consumer.

By using our services, purchasing a subscription, or accessing our applications, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

2. What StructuredAF Provides

StructuredAF is subscription software that helps businesses organise and publish structured information about their identity, expertise, services and offers through supported websites. Available features and delivery methods depend on your plan and platform and may change as the Service develops.

What We Don't Provide

• Web development (we don't build websites)
• SEO or GEO agency services (we don't manage ongoing campaigns)
• Technical support for third-party platforms
• Guarantees of search ranking or AI recommendation improvements

Availability and Compatibility

The Service is available through supported platforms and installation methods, which may change over time. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every website platform. Where we identify an incompatibility, we'll document it in our knowledge base.

3. Accounts, Plans and Permitted Websites

• Each plan permits use on a set number of websites, as stated on our pricing page at the time of purchase
• Websites must be owned or controlled by you, or by a client you're authorised to represent
• Agencies and consultants may use StructuredAF on behalf of clients, provided they have the client's authority to represent the business described
• Accounts and licences are for your use only and may not be resold, shared, or sublicensed
• Your account is created upon purchase, with access credentials delivered by email
• You are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activity under your account

4. Customer Information and Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and up-to-date business information
• Install the plugin or code snippet appropriate to your platform
• Ensure you have the authority to represent the business described
• Update your information when your business circumstances change

Implementation success depends on your website's technical setup and the accuracy of the information you provide.

5. Payment, Renewal, Cancellation and Refunds

Subscription Model

StructuredAF operates on an annual subscription basis. Your subscription includes access to the platform and ongoing improvements to the Service during your subscription term.

Payment Processing

Creem acts as our Merchant of Record. When you subscribe, you are purchasing through Creem, who process payment, tax and compliance across jurisdictions on our behalf. Creem's own terms apply to the transaction alongside these Terms: see Creem's terms. We do not store or process payment card information. Billing disputes should be directed to support@structuredaf.com in the first instance.

Renewal and Cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically on the anniversary of your purchase, and you'll be notified before renewal
• You can cancel at any time before your renewal date
• If you cancel, your account remains active until the end of your current billing period

30-Day Compatibility Guarantee

If the Service cannot be installed on a platform that we listed as supported at the time of your purchase, and the issue cannot be resolved after reasonable troubleshooting with our support team, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. StructuredAF determines eligibility for a refund under this guarantee; approved refunds are processed by Creem.

6. Availability, Changes and Third-Party Dependencies

• We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access
• Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where reasonably possible
• We are not liable for downtime beyond our reasonable control
• The Service relies on third-party infrastructure providers, whose availability is outside our control
• The Service may be updated or improved during your subscription
• Where a change materially affects an active subscription, we'll give notice where reasonably practicable

7. Ownership and Licence to Use the Output

Your Content

• You retain ownership of all business information you provide
• You grant us a licence to use that information solely to provide the Service to you
• We may use anonymised, aggregated data to improve the Service

Our Content

• The StructuredAF platform, tools, and educational content remain our intellectual property
• You may not redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer our tools or content

What Happens to Published Output After Cancellation

Once your subscription ends and any applicable grace period has passed, generated output is no longer maintained or delivered through the Service, and access to your StructuredAF account is withdrawn. See Section 8 for how your underlying data is handled.

8. Data and Privacy

Full details are in our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• We store account and authentication information, the business data you provide, and generated structured data
• You can request data export or deletion at any time by contacting dpo@structuredaf.com
• You can update or correct stored information through the application

9. Acceptable Use, Disclaimers and Liability

Acceptable Use

• Using the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or copy our applications
• Sharing login credentials or reselling access
• Inputting false or misleading business information
• Generating output for businesses you don't represent or have authority for
• Overwhelming our systems with excessive or automated requests

Results and Performance

We cannot guarantee specific AI visibility, GEO, SEO, or traffic improvements. AI systems and search engine algorithms are beyond our control. Our content is informational and does not constitute professional advice.

Limitation of Liability

• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your current subscription period
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, data, or business opportunities
• Third-party service failures are outside our control

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Suspension and Termination

• We may suspend or terminate accounts for a breach of these Terms
• You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time (see Section 5)
• Termination results in withdrawal of access and, after the applicable grace period, deletion of your data in accordance with Section 8

11. General

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Scottish law, and disputes will be resolved in the Scottish courts. If you have a concern, contact us first, most issues can be resolved through direct communication. We aim to respond within 48 hours.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email, and updated Terms will be posted here with a revised date.
