StructuredAF works with plenty of website builders we don't have a dedicated guide for, as long as yours lets you add your own code to the head of your public pages.
This page shows you how to check, how to install it, and how to confirm it's live.
You need somewhere to add a complete block of code to the head of your public pages. Different builders call that different things, so look for a setting named something like:
The name is only a clue, though. Some fields called "tracking" will happily take a full block of code. Others only accept an analytics ID and will reject anything else, which you tend to discover at the worst possible moment.
So the quickest route is to ask your platform's support team this:
"Does my plan let me add a complete custom script, including its opening and closing script tags, to the head of every public page on my website?"
If they say yes, you're good to go. If your platform only takes analytics IDs, CSS, meta tags, widgets or body embeds, don't assume it'll work. Get in touch before you buy or install and we'll help you work it out.
You'll need your profile and offers and FAQs filled in, access to your website settings, and a published site you can scan afterwards.
In your StructuredAF account, open Add to Site, click Generate, then Copy Code.
Take the whole block exactly as it comes, including the opening and closing tags. Trimming anything off is the single most common reason an install doesn't work.
Open your builder's custom code settings and paste your StructuredAF code into the field that puts code in the page head.
If there's already something in that field, leave it alone. Add your code underneath it as a separate block. Then, where your builder gives you the choice, set it to apply:
Save and publish.
Back in StructuredAF, click Scan Site and point it at your published homepage. Not an editor, not a preview, not an unpublished draft, since none of those are what the outside world sees.
If your details come back in the results, you're done. If they don't, work through these: the whole code block copied across, the code is switched on, it's in the head rather than the body, the right pages are selected, your changes are published, your plan allows custom code, and you scanned your live domain.
Some platforms have no site-wide option at all. If yours is one of them, add the complete block to the head of each public page, then scan them individually to check.
It's more work, and it means replacing the code on every one of those pages whenever your details change. Worth knowing before you start rather than halfway through.
Self-managed installations don't update on their own, so when you change something in StructuredAF, you'll need to copy the new version across.
Go back to Add to Site, click Generate, and copy your code again. Then find your existing StructuredAF block in your website settings, replace it with the new one, and publish.
The important bit is replacing rather than adding. Two versions sitting in there means two different accounts of your business, which helps nobody. Updating Your Profile goes through it properly.
Your platform doesn't have a tested StructuredAF guide, which means its menu names, its plan restrictions and what its code fields will accept are all in your provider's hands rather than ours. We'd rather be straight about where that line sits.
We can help you with:
Your website provider is the one to ask about where custom head code goes on their platform and whether your current plan allows it. They know their own settings far better than we do, and their answer will be current.
Only if it takes a complete block of code and puts it in the page head. If it only accepts an analytics ID, a pixel number or a verification code, it isn't the right field, whatever it's called.
Use the head. If your platform gives you no way to add anything to the head at all, get in touch before installing rather than improvising with a body embed.
No. Your code sits in the page head, where it's read by AI and search engines rather than displayed. Nothing about your design, layout or content changes.
Ask your website provider the question further up this page. If you can't get a clear answer out of them, tell us what you're working with and we'll help you figure it out.
