1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StructuredAF™ services, including our website (structuredaf.com), applications, and all related tools and content.

By using our services, purchasing a subscription, or accessing our applications, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

2. Our Services

What We Provide

Schema Infrastructure Platform

StructuredAF is an AI visibility platform that generates comprehensive structured data (schema markup) for your business. The platform creates 150+ data points covering your services, courses, credentials, expertise, and business model — delivered to your website via CDN or WordPress plugin so that AI systems like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini can understand and recommend your business.

Email Communications

Newsletters, educational content, and business insights delivered via Bento.

Customer Support

Implementation guidance, setup assistance, and email-based support via Freshdesk.

What We Don't Provide

• Web development (we don't build websites)
• SEO or GEO agency services (we don't manage ongoing campaigns)
• Technical support for third-party platforms
• Guarantees of search ranking or AI recommendation improvements

3. How the Platform Works

What StructuredAF Does

• Generates comprehensive structured data based on the business information you provide
• Delivers your schema markup via CDN (accessible even when your host blocks AI crawlers)
• Provides a WordPress plugin for one-click integration, or a code snippet for other platforms
• Intelligently merges with existing schema from SEO plugins like Yoast and RankMath
• Stores your business data for ongoing schema generation and updates

Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and up-to-date business information
• Install the WordPress plugin or code snippet on your website
• Ensure you have the authority to represent the business described
• Update your information when your business circumstances change

Our Limitations

• We cannot guarantee compatibility with every website platform — if we discover an incompatibility, we will document it in our knowledgebase
• We cannot control how AI systems or search engines interpret your structured data
• Implementation success depends on your website's technical setup and the accuracy of the data you provide

4. Subscriptions, Payment and Refunds

Subscription Model

StructuredAF operates on an annual subscription basis. Your subscription includes access to the platform, schema generation, CDN delivery, the WordPress plugin, and ongoing updates as AI platforms evolve.

Payment Processing

• All payments are processed through LemonSqueezy as our merchant of record
• We do not store or process payment card information
• LemonSqueezy handles sales tax, VAT, and compliance across all jurisdictions
• Billing disputes should be directed to support@structuredaf.com in the first instance

What Happens When You Subscribe

• Application access is granted immediately upon payment confirmation
• Login credentials and setup instructions are delivered via email
• Your schema begins delivering via CDN as soon as you've completed setup

Subscription Renewal

• Subscriptions renew automatically on the anniversary of your purchase
• You will be notified before renewal
• You can cancel at any time before your renewal date

Cancellation

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you can't get it working, contact support first — we'll help you troubleshoot. If it's genuinely incompatible with your platform, you'll receive a full refund.

Refund Conditions

• The product must be genuinely incompatible with your website platform
• You must have contacted support and allowed us to attempt to resolve the issue
• Generated content will be revoked and application access terminated upon refund

No Refunds After

• 30 days from purchase date
• Abuse of the refund policy

Refund Process

• Email your request with purchase details to support@structuredaf.com
• We'll respond within 48 hours
• Refunds processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method

5. Data and Privacy

Full details are in our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Account information (name, email, login credentials)
• All business data you enter — services, courses, credentials, expertise, and other information you provide to generate your schema
• Generated structured data and schema markup
• Usage data and application interactions
• Email communications and preferences

Your Control

• Request data export or deletion at any time by contacting dpo@structuredaf.com
• Manage email preferences independently via Bento
• Update or correct stored information through the application

Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You retain ownership of all business information you provide
• You grant us a licence to use that data solely for the purpose of providing the service
• We may use anonymised, aggregated data for service improvement

Our Content

• The StructuredAF platform, tools, and educational content remain our intellectual property
• Generated schema markup includes structuredaf.com attribution
• You may not redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer our tools or content

6. Acceptable Use

What You Can Do

• Use the platform for legitimate business purposes
• Install generated schema on websites you own or manage
• Share results and insights from your own analyses

Prohibited Activities

• Using the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or copy our applications
• Sharing login credentials or reselling access
• Using the service to harm competitors or engage in unethical practices
• Inputting false or misleading business information
• Generating schema for businesses you don't represent
• Overwhelming our systems with excessive or automated requests
• Interfering with other users' experience

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability

• We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access
• Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible
• We are not liable for downtime beyond our reasonable control

Technical Dependencies

Our services depend on third-party providers including Supabase, LemonSqueezy, Google Cloud Platform, Kinsta, Sevalla, Bento, and Freshdesk. We cannot control third-party service availability. We'll work to resolve issues promptly but cannot guarantee immediate solutions.

Results and Performance

• We cannot guarantee specific AI visibility, GEO, SEO, or traffic improvements
• AI and search engine algorithms are beyond our control
• Website performance depends on many factors outside our influence
• Our content is informational and does not constitute professional advice

Limitation of Liability

• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your current subscription period
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, data, or business opportunities
• We cannot be held liable for issues with your website, hosting, or how AI systems treat your data
• Third-party service failures are outside our control

8. Third-Party Services

Services We Use

LemonSqueezy (Payment Processing)

Handles all payment transactions, subscription management, and refunds. Subject to LemonSqueezy's terms and conditions.

Bento (Email Marketing & Tracking)

Manages email subscriptions, communications, and on-site behavioural tracking. Subject to Bento's terms and privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Supabase (Data Storage)

Stores your application data and generated content. Subject to Supabase's terms of service.

Freshdesk (Customer Support)

Handles support tickets and customer enquiries. Subject to Freshworks' terms and privacy policy.

Google Cloud Platform (CDN & Hosting)

Delivers your schema markup via CDN and provides infrastructure for Kinsta and Sevalla hosting.

Third-Party Links and Integrations

• Our content may link to third-party websites and services
• We do not control or endorse third-party content
• We provide guidance for implementing schema on various platforms but cannot guarantee compatibility with all systems
• Third-party platform changes may affect our recommendations

9. Account Management

Account Creation and Access

• Your account is created upon purchase
• Access credentials are sent via email
• You are responsible for maintaining account security

Account Termination

• We may terminate accounts for Terms violations
• You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time
• Termination results in permanent deletion of your data and schema (see Section 4)

Account Security

• Keep login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately at support@structuredaf.com if you suspect unauthorised access
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

10. Dispute Resolution

Initial Resolution

Contact us first at support@structuredaf.com. We aim to respond within 48 hours, and most issues can be resolved through direct communication.

Escalation

• If direct resolution fails, consider mediation
• Formal disputes are subject to Scottish jurisdiction
• Legal action should be a last resort

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Scottish law. Disputes will be resolved in Scottish courts. EU and UK consumer protection rights apply where relevant.

11. Changes and Updates

Service Changes

• We may update our platform and applications
• Significant changes will be communicated in advance
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

Terms Updates

• We may revise these Terms periodically
• Material changes will be notified via email
• Updated Terms will be posted with a revision date

Grandfathering

• Existing customers are generally protected from adverse changes
• Price increases will be communicated with reasonable notice
• Service discontinuation will be handled with an appropriate transition period

• Business hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm GMT): Within 24 hours
• Weekends and UK public holidays: Within 48 hours
• Complex technical issues may require longer resolution
